About the event
Take your game to the next level - on and off the ice - by training your mind as well as your body. Over three engaging on-ice sessions, athletes will learn to manage emotions, stay present under pressure, and move with intention. Each session combines practical drills with mental skills strategies, helping players build resilience, confidence, and focus in a fun, supportive environment.
Week 1: Penalty Box Emotions
Skills: Emotional awareness, regulation, and coping with frustration
Players explore how emotions like anger, disappointment, and anxiety show up during the game. Through guided reflection and interactive on-ice exercises, athletes learn to identify feelings, pause, and respond rather than react - turning penalty box moments into growth opportunities.
Week 2: Mindful Skating
Skills: Focus, breath awareness, and body-mind connection
