Service Description
Take your game to the next level - on and off the ice - by training your mind as well as your body. Over three engaging on-ice sessions, athletes will learn to manage emotions, stay present under pressure, and move with intention. Each session combines practical drills with mental skills strategies, helping players build resilience, confidence, and focus in a fun, supportive environment. Session 1: Penalty Box Emotions Skills: Emotional awareness, regulation, and coping with frustration Players explore how emotions like anger, disappointment, and anxiety show up during the game. Through guided reflection and interactive on-ice exercises, athletes learn to identify feelings, pause, and respond rather than react - turning penalty box moments into growth opportunities. Session 2: Mindful Skating Skills: Focus, breath awareness, and body-mind connection This session emphasizes moving with intention. Athletes practice mindful skating techniques that improve balance, control, and presence on the ice. By combining mental focus with physical skill, players learn to enhance performance while reducing stress and distraction. Session 3: Pressure Play Skills: Performance confidence, coping with stress, and mental toughness Under simulated game-like pressures, athletes apply mental strategies to stay calm, confident, and effective. Using visualization, self-talk, and controlled breathing, players learn to thrive in high-stakes moments, building resilience that carries into games and life beyond the rink.
